Ali MacGraw

Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American model, author, designer and animal rights activist. Ali MacGraw is well-known for her roles in films like Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. The desire to become an artist was in part influenced by her family background in an New York family of artists. Her first position was a photo assistant. After that, she switched to acting and modeling. She won an award called the Golden Globe Award in 1990 for being a promising young actor. MacGraw became a global celebrity after her movie Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as an award from the Golden Globe. The film was recognized as the most successful box office star in the world after only three films. In 1972, the Grauman's Chinese Theater signed her name with handprints, foot prints and handprints in the year 1972. Alongside The Getaway Convoy Players she also starred in the television show The Winds of War. The autobiography of MacGraw Moving Pictures was published in 1991. MacGraw's been married three different occasions.
