Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise, an American writer and actress, popular for her portrayal of Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island in the 1960s. The actress began her career as a stage artist during the 1950s, beginning by performing in Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. In the 1950s she performed as a stage performer in a few Broadway productions before gaining into the spotlight with her hit song 'Lil' Abner' in 1957. That same year, she made her debut album, It's the Time for Tina. Louise debuted on the screen in Hollywood as God's Little Acre, a film which was made in 1958. She was Griselda who was a character from the film. Louise enrolled in Actors Studio, New York during this period and became Lee Strasberg's student. Her most memorable performance came in 1964. She was signed by CBS for the role of Ginger Grant. Louise continued to juggle her work successfully with a variety of roles between Broadway television and Hollywood playing somber characters contrasted to her perception of an attractive model. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The series starred her as SG-1's Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. But, over the last few years she has also become a renowned director of popular television shows such as Supernatural and The 100. Her family moved from Essex to Toronto and she lived there for growing up and in adolescence. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 for the part and has been settling down there ever since.
