Maribel grew in Virginia with her parents, although there aren't many details regarding their lives. As a teenager she wanted to work within the legal field, wanting to become an attorney. She attended the University of Virginia after graduating the high school level to pursue a degree in Foreign Policy and also minored in German. The University of Virginia is among America's oldest universities with its history going back to 1819, when Thomas Jefferson founded it. Jefferson was one of the Declaration of Independence authors. More than a century of educational programs are provided by the university and was constructed on Jefferson's Academical Village - a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its main campus is spread over 1600 acres while the farm and research park cover many more acres. Maribel obtained her law degree at New York Law School.
