Luciana Paoluzzi was born in Rome, where she was raised by her two parents. Luciana Paoluzzi had a father who is a retired Italian soldier, as well as a mother named Maria Rota Paoluzzi. She was also the mistress to Benito Mussolini. There is no information available on having siblings. Luciana studied at an elementary school in the area before going into the Scientific Academy of Milan in 1955. Luciana was one of only two females in the class. Luciana began as fashion models after only two years. Her professional career took a turn afterward, as by chance she landed her first role in Three Coins in the Fountain. Her first husband was Brett Halsey who is also an actor. They got married in 1960 and filmed the film Return to the Peyton Palace. Luciana was granted custody following the divorce. They welcomed a baby boy called Charles who was born in June 1961. Between 1962 and 1970 Luciana had a relationship with Tony Athony who was, an actor and producer. Tony was greatly influenced by her performance in the film Green Slime and based on his script and production of this mix Spaghetti Western for which he was a bit of a hit.
